I have received an email from Obsidione
If you have received an email from us, it typically means a lead has contacted us with a request or inquiry, and the email has been forwarded to you for follow-up. Here’s a guide on how to handle such emails effectively and securely for being compliant with safety and security measures.
Verify the sender address
To ensure the email is legitimate and not a phishing attempt, carefully check the sender’s email address. A legitimate email from us will typically use our official domain (e.g., @obsidione.com or @obsleads.com).
If the email comes from an unfamiliar or suspicious address:
- Do not click on any links or download attachments.
- Immediately forward the email to security@obsidione.com for verification.
- Clearly state that you are unsure about the origin of the email and requests verification.
Review the request
If the email is confirmed to be genuine, review the content of the request. Ensure you understand the nature of the inquiry or the lead’s needs. Common types of requests might include:
- Questions about services.
- Requests for quotes or partnerships.
- Follow-ups on previous communication.
- STOP messages, meaning that the customer has requested to delete their information
- Requests to amend information
Respond promptly
We kindly request that all partner emails are answered within 24 hours as part of the General Partnership Agreement (GPA). This ensures leads receive timely support and maintains our professional standards.
Emails received from Partner Care should never be shared with the end customer. This is seen as a Breach of Terms and might terminate the partnership with us, as this is considered internal communication.
Suspecting spam or phising?
If the email looks suspicious or out of context, it’s better to be cautious. Look for these red flags:
- Generic greetings like “Dear Sir/Madam.”
- Grammatical errors or unusual formatting.
- Urgent language demanding immediate action.
- Does not include the legal name in the footer
- Prompts you to click one or two links (normally with heavy urgency)
- Missing tracking ID (should be stated in the bottom of the email)
Forward any suspicious emails to security@obsidione.com so we can investigate.
PLEASE NOTE! Emails and communication received directly from Partner Care should never (under any circumstances) be shared with the end customer. This is seen as a BOT and might result in termination of the partnership with us, as this is classified as internal communication.
